Recent findings of parasitologists and medical doctors indicate that at least 25% of all Americans are infected with parasites and 37% have candida yeast overgrowth.

Some of the common causes of parasites:

• Food is often inadequately prepared or eaten raw. Eating undercooked meats, unclean vegetables and fruits, and raw foods like sushi can result in parasite infestations.
• Water is a primary source of parasite infections. Even filtered water can contain microorganisms such as giardia or cryptosporidium that can cause serious health problems.
• Pets can often be carriers of parasites.
• Travel outside the United States can expose one to parasites.

Some of the common causes of candida:

• Repeated antibiotic use can destroy intestinal flora balance, resulting in candida yeast overgrowth.
• Sugar and carbohydrate overconsumption can cause yeast overgrowth.
• Birth control pills and cortisone drugs commonly cause candida overgrowth as a side effect.
