Author L. Rea 
CEO & Founder

Entrepreneur or Legend?  Author L. Rea has accomplished in a few short years than what most people will in their entire lifetime.  His focused attitude of “Adapt, Migrate or Die” is what drives his success and the global accomplishments of ALR Industries. 
 
As a young boy in Palo Alto, California, Author discovered his love of health and fitness through multiple martial arts.  He quickly rose through the ranks to achieve 2 coveted Black Belts.  In his teens as he progressed in karate, kendo and ju-jitsu, Author began weight training to increase his speed, strength and muscle size.  He soon began competing in different fitness competitions from martial arts tournaments and cage fighting to bodybuilding and powerlifting.  Other competitors recognized his growing knowledge base resulted in increasing success.  Shortly thereafter he began coaching elite athletes like Mr. Universe, Milos Sarcev and Ironman Pro, Toney Freeman.  He also began working with other top sports coaches Charles Poliquin and Nelson Ayotte, as well as many others.  Author combined his love of coaching with his thirst for knowledge and began to advance his journey to study, research and validate as much as he could about the human body’s nutritional needs.  His goals was to provide significant physiological health and performance enhancement through working with (rather than against) the human body.

Laina Rea
CFO & Executive Vice-President

Laina Rea began her management career in the healthcare industry where she managed a successful Otalaryngology practice for over 10 years.  She was then recruited to manage the billing for a prominent home healthcare corporation in California.  It was while working there, that Laina saw patients recover successfully through physical and occupational therapy.  An athlete herself, Laina wanted continue helping the public increase their health and wellness.
 
She joined ALR Industries in 2004 to do just that.  As CFO and Executive Vice-President of ALR Industries, Laina is responsible for the operations of the global corporation.  She oversees the Finance, Marketing, Distribution, Events and Culinary divisions of ALR Industries.  Laina’s innovative approaches to leadership continually exhibit the ALR Industries philosophy of “Adapt, Migrate or Die.”  With her management skills, she leads a strong team of management staff to consistently produce results year over year.  Under her disciplined leadership, ALR Industries continues to expand in the global marketplace.
  
Laina partners her desire to help others and ALR Industries’ continued success with her significant philanthropic efforts.  Her altruistic nature drives ALR Industries’ financial support that provides children with the experience of fitness through team sports.  Personally, Laina is actively involved in helping Special Needs children, such as those with autism and ADHD to live fun-filled, athletic and purposeful lives.  Laina is very passionate about the wellness of her own child, and therefore consistently strives to find ways to educate other parents about the benefit of a healthy lifestyle and nutritional products.  She has worked closely with the ALR Industries Culinary division to create a series of fun, healthy recipes that parents can make with their children.
