SYNTHA-6 gets its name from the 6 different protein and amino acid sources used as the foundation of this protein: Whey Protein Concentrate, Micellar Alpha-and-Beta Caseins and Caseinates, Whey Protein Isolate, Egg Albumen, Calcium Caseinate and Milk Protein Concentrate. Each of these protein sources has unique benefits so having them all in one product is ideal. By combining fast releasing whey proteins with slower releasing egg and casein proteins, you'll get a steady sustained delivery of protein to your muscles. This is preferable to large doses of whey protein which absorb quickly, so quickly that it may not all be utilized. SYNTHA-6 does contain substantial amounts of whey protein but the presence of other, slower-releasing proteins mean that you won't need or want another protein shake within just an hour or two of your whey shake.
