After several months of relief, many people can cut back a maintenance dose, which may be as little as half of the original dose. Typically one will need to take the maintenance dose for a number of months, perhaps a year. If you cut back too soon, do not despair; simply raise the dosage to an acceptable level.

120 - 200 lbs. - 1.5 oz. daily

over 200 lbs. - 2 oz. daily
